The Spring House
The Spring House is one of several accessory buildings to an early-mid 1800’s historic home in the Shenandoah Valley of Central Virginia. The home sits on a knoll above a winding bend of an adjacent creek with expansive views of rolling farmland and New Market Gap in the distance.
This project includes the adaptation of this spring house into an accessory dwelling. We worked within the very limited existing footprint to develop a one-bedroom cottage with kitchenette, living & dining space, bathroom, and sleeping loft.
